Opening of the first audio tour in Switzerland of a library in Baar
“From the outset it was clear to me that I wanted to support this project. All the more it made me happy that this first in Switzerland was also unanimously accepted by the municipal council.” With these words the community president of Baar, Andreas Hotz expressed his satisfaction about the successful implementation of the audio tour in his speech in the well-filled municipal meeting hall.
Christopher Prinz, responsible for the project and managing partner of Audiotours GmbH described all content-related details of the audio tour to the public. Special thanks were expressed to Mrs. Grazia Portman, head of the municipal library Baar, whose commitment substantially contributed to the smooth implementation.
Prinz was also pleased that he was able to enthrall the well-known radio moderator, author and musician Reeto von Gunten for the library tour. Von Gunten is the responsible for text and tone. It is his voice, which will guide visitors through the library in the future, in German and English on iPods.
Von Gunten took care of the entertainment part himself. He read some samples from his book “auesgarnidwahr” and concluded the meeting with a top-class hearing pleasure that left the audience in stitches.
